At a formal event organized by the Rajasthan Punjabi Bhasha Academy, the latest issue of the Punjabi literary magazine *Paiddan* was launched to provide a platform for showcasing the literary interests of Punjabis residing in Rajasthan. The inauguration was led by Dr. N.P. Singh, Secretary of the Academy, along with other notable personalities from the education sector. The magazine was praised as a significant step forward in the promotion of the Punjabi language. Dr. N.P. Singh shared thoughts on the ongoing efforts to preserve and promote Punjabi, while Associate Professor Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Managing Editor, conducted the program and highlighted the magazine’s purpose and future plans. Editor S. Rajinder Singh Sahu emphasized the role of the magazine in uniting Punjabi writers in Rajasthan and giving voice to the cultural transformation of Punjabi communities in the region. The magazine features works from all genres of Punjabi literature and aims to document the experiences of Punjabis who settled in Rajasthan at the request of Maharaja Ganga Singh. It has also been launched on a dedicated website for public download. Dr. Sandeep Singh Munde, Rajasthan’s first Ph.D. guide in Punjabi, encouraged researchers to focus on Punjabi literature in Rajasthan. Amarinder Singh Shilpi, President of the Punjabi Cultural Society, shared details of the society’s cultural efforts, and Principal Navraj Singh Lakhia stressed the need to promote Punjabi writing at the school level. Several Punjabi writers and scholars, including Kukki Ahluwalia, J.P. Singh Arneja, legal advisor Ajit Pal Sandha, Jasmel Singh Subeg Singh, Avtar Singh, Sukhbir Singh, and Gurmeet Singh, also actively participated in the program.
