On August 31, 2023, as part of the *Mehak Punjabi* program series held in memory of Amrita Pritam, the Punjabi Cultural Society organized a Kavi Darbar at Chandralok Hotel, Sri Ganganagar. The event was hosted by Dr. Kuldeep Singh (Associate Professor), with chief guest being renowned drama and film actress Smt. Surinderpal Kaur. Special guests included Sardar Paramjeet Singh Mangat (Deputy Director, IT, NIC), Dr. N.P. Singh (Secretary, Rajasthan Punjabi Bhasha Academy), and S. Rajwant Singh.
Participants in the poetry recitation included Balwinder Singh Chahal, Rajinder Singh Sahu, Kukki Ahluwalia, Jograj Bhatia, Smt. Meenakshi, Smt. Shaminder Kaur, Harman Singh Upkar, and Raju Anand. Dr. N.P. Singh emphasized the need for such programs to be held regularly in Ganganagar. Sardar Paramjeet Singh Mangat encouraged all poets for their contributions to the Punjabi language. Surinderpal Kaur captivated the audience by reciting the poem *”Ajj Aakheen Baba Nanak Nu.”* The event also marked the release of the cover page of Rajasthan’s first Punjabi e-magazine *Paiddan*, set to launch in October 2023. Distinguished attendees included G.P. Singh, Balwinder Singh Dhillon, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, S. Tarlochan Singh, Sardar Jasveer Singh, Sardar Simranjeet Singh, Rajat Kumar, President Amarinder Singh Shilpi, S. Amandeep Singh, S. Harshdeep Singh, and S. Gurmeet Singh.
